Every five hundred years or so - barring accidents - the Phoenix builds a pyre to burn and become reborn from the ashes.

The only one of his kind, he wanders the earth, seeing what there is to see and trying to stave off loneliness.

Brenton Énna, as the Phoenix is currently calling himself, when in human form appears to be a man in his mid twenties with bright red hair and hazel eyes. His bird form is that of an eagle shaped sort in brilliant flame like colors and also on fire. His flames don't hurt anyone, unless he wishes them too.

He has no other supernatural powers beyond his ability to come back from the dead constantly. His feathers are supposed to be good luck, his blood is supposed to give eternal youth and his tears heal any disease or injury - but honestly he'd rather not part with any of them.

If you really want to bribe him, give him cherries. He really likes cherries.
